About us

Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC) in Donostia-San Sebastián (Spain) is a singular research center devoted to research at the cutting edge in the fields of Condensed Matter Physics and Materials Science. Born in 2000, its board enjoys the participation of public bodies as well as private entities. Since its conception DIPC has stood for the promotion of excellence in research, which demands a flexible space where creativity is stimulated by a diversity of perspectives. The most remarkable characteristic of the center is its dynamic research community, integrated by local host scientists and a large number of international visiting researchers.
